If I had to pick a word to summarise this week it would be 'Exciting'... I didn't expect it to be so. In fact I didn't want to get up yesterday morning, but I'm glad I did. One of these days I'll get my head around the fact that the best days or weeks or visits are usually the ones I dread most, or feel utterly ambivalent about beforehand.

Like a cross between Adrian Mole and 'The curious incident of the dog at night time'. I liked it for its description, as well as nostalgic 70s/80s feel. (****) Russell Hoban: Riddley Walker
